Jewelry Care

Next to each product, you'll find detailed information about the materials used to create our jewelry. Many of our pieces are crafted from 925 sterling silver or Vermeil gold, a thick 22-karat gold layer over a 925 silver base. Some designs are made from zamak (a zinc alloy) plated with 24-karat gold. You’ll also find natural elements such as freshwater pearls and carefully selected crystals and stones, chosen for their unique beauty and symbolic energy.

All materials are carefully selected for their quality, beauty, and durability. Like all plated jewelry, some natural fading may occur over time, especially with frequent wear and this is not considered a defect. Sterling silver, on the other hand, can last a lifetime with proper care.

We understand that every skin is unique. While we've never received any reports of allergic reactions, it's always best to be mindful of your own sensitivities when choosing materials that will stay close to your skin.

All jewelry is handmade with love and intention by our Balinese and Athenian artisans, and with proper care, your pieces will remain beautiful for years to come.

Tips to care for your jewelry and extend its life:

-Avoid storing jewelry in the bathroom as moisture may cause tarnishing over time.

-If you live in a humid climate or tropical area (like Bali), consider placing a small silica gel packet in your jewelry box to help absorb excess moisture.

-Remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, or visiting saunas and hot springs.

-Avoid direct contact with perfumes, oils, soaps, lotions, and hair products.

-Take off your jewelry before physical work or cleaning, as detergents and harsh chemicals can cause damage.
